Our names are Rory and Dan and between us we have nearly 40 years of experience working and teaching in the Fashion Industry.
We have worked in Higher and Further education as well as Community education.
I have worked in design rooms as a designer and pattern cutter, working with the far east to develop collections across a range of styles. I while at university I specialised in menswear with options in print and knit. once in industry i developed ranges for both men and women specialising in alternative sectors such as steam punk, vintage and Eveningwear.
I have experience of visual merchandising to increase customer engagement and sales working for well known high street brands
Education: BA Hons in Fashion Design -Northumbria University
DT SCITT PGCE – 90 credits
I have worked in the clothing industry from 17 years old, as a machinist, pattern cutter and finally as a garment technologist.
I have worked in factories and buying offices for many high street companies and big brand names. My work took me all over the country and the world.
