This course is for anyone wanting to learn the skills and techniques needed to achieve a professional result when making Speed Tailored Jackets.
Speed Tailoring is used by industry to create beautifully tailored garments more quickly and efficiently than traditional tailoring methods.
In this course you will learn:
- About the different interfacings used in tailoring.
- How to use interfacings & pressing to add structure & shape to a jacket
- How to set in a revere collar
- How to set in a 2 piece sleeve, add shoulder pads & sleeve head roll
- How to bag out a lining mostly my machine
- Optional – how to sew a welt or jet pocket

You should be an experienced sewer who is confident sewing clothes including details such as pockets, sleeves and collars
Workshop includes…
- Course booklet containing all the information you will need to support you in future tailoring project
- Our jacket pattern – a suitable alternative can be used if prefered.
- Use of studio equipment and tools.
- Tea/coffee/Juice & biscuits
