Add some sparkle and shine to bring new life and personality to old or worn shoes and accessories.
Come and join us to upcycle your leather and faux leather shoes or accessories in a fun and relaxed creative workshop.
In this workshop you will learn:
- how to prep your leather/pleather ready to make shiny
- what supplies are needed and how to use them
- how to get different effects with foils and add decoraction
You will be able to use a selection of colours to create your own design. For example:
- 1 main colour and 1 motif (eg star) colour
- more colours as a splatter/glitter effect as on the purple boots
- if feeling adventurous 1 main colour and 2 additional colours for a free hand leopard effect
We will have a selection of foils available for the workshop, if there is a particular colour you would like to use please let us know in advance of the workshop date.

Workshop includes…
- All materials needed to make something shiny are provided, if you have a particular colour of foil you would like please let us know in advance
- A small repair kit to keep your shoes looking their best.
Materials required:
- Something leather or pleather to make shiny – could be shoes, boots, belts, bags etc
*Although most students will complete their project within the session, everyone works at their own pace so if you don’t finish your piece don’t worry because you will go home with the skills you need to complete it.
