If you are interested in learning to sew clothes but don’t know where to start this is the course for you. You will learn how to use a machine and basic sewing techniques while making a sample/toile (practice garment).
This course can be done as a 5 week course or a 3 day intensive to fit with your schedule.
You don’t need to have any equipment or a machine. If you do have a machine and you want to learn how to use it you are welcome to bring it along.
On this course you will learn how to:
- Thread a machine
- Fill a bobbin
- Use different functions of the machine
- Use a pattern
- Mark and cut fabric
- Sew and finish seams
- Insert a Zip
- Sew Darts
- Attach a facing

No experience needed. If you have used sewing machine but not made clothes or need a refresher this course is also for you.
